This presentation will cover variations in diet and nutritional supplements for maximizing powerlifting strength. He will show that by using the right diet and supplement
combination for each of the powerlifting training phases, a natural and effective alternative, to the use of powerful and dangerous strength enhancing drugs.
Included in this discussion will be diet and nutritional supplement suggestions for the various training phases including:
The Startup Phase, The Mass Phase, The Strength Phase, The Pre-Competition Phase,

Dr. Di Pasquale will also be discussing ways to maximize lean body mass, and how to make weight class, so that you can carry the most amount of muscle possible for your weight class. As well, he will cover how to handle your food and fluid intake prior to and after weigh-in, and during competition. A review of some supplements that would be helpful on the day on the contest to increase strength, reduce spasms and retain your energy will also be presented.
