What are Nutritional Follies?
In
today's society, many women have developed similar eating
and lifestyle patterns; what I hail as the Typical Women's
Syndrome (TWS). Invariably, the average woman between the
ages of 18 and early 40's describe their eating habits with
similar characteristics. These include:
-
Too little dietary protein,
- Too
many carbohydrates,
- Very
low-fat intake,
- One-two
daily meals,
- Inadequate
total caloric intake,
- Eating
the largest meal in the evening,
- Lack
of or excessive physical activity.
Updates
of Focus on Women will feature discussion on each of these
symptoms of TWS.
